Designed by the defunct studio The President (Peet Pienaar), this issue captures the vibrant intersection of music and design in 2010 South Africa. The cover features Pienaar’s signature “Afro-pop” styling, with Da L.E.S wearing a custom mask created from the magazine’s own graphic pattern.
The cover features Da L.E.S styled and designed by Peet Pienaar, characterised by its tactile green glitter printing on the typography and ornate heart patterns.
